Activities for Kids

For those couples who are brave enough to invite youngsters to their wedding, there are ways to help yourselves out (and the kiddies, too, especially!) Try putting together a goodie box full of fun activities and things to play with (that doesn't involve a whoopie cushion).

TABLE:
Provide a Paper Table Cover on top
Make sure the table is low to go the ground (approx. 1 foot), with pillows for seats. (You try eating and coloring in an adult chair when you're 3 feet tall.)

GOODIES:
     Crayons
     Coloring Books
     Stickers
     Bubbles
     Paper Moustache "Smitten" Sticks
Game Boards (Candy Land, Chutes & Ladders)
     Pinwheels
     Glow Sticks (for the evening)
     Ribbon "Wands"
     Lollipops
     Play-Doh
     Craft Kits

SUPER-GOODIES:
     DVD player to play movies
Hire an entertainer (Cinderella, Clown, Balloon artist)
     Prizes for Coloring Contest
Trunk of Old clothes for kids to play dress up
     Sand box
